Featured are a farmer, a steel worker, a scientist, a nurse, a soldier, a pilot, factories and the nation's capital. Accompanying the image is a patriotic poem by Jack Childs. The clever aspect of this poster is that the individual components of the design unite to form an image of the bust of Uncle Sam, which is visible, like a spectre, over the whole scene.
