Additional Details

number 2 of only 10 copies with an original print from a total edition of 210. This edition was signed by Caballero on the same day Neruda was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature, October 21, 1971, during his tenure as Chilean ambassador in Paris. Caballero befriended Neruda along with other Spanish avant-garde figures such as Federico García Lorca, Luis Buñuel, Alberto Sánchez, and Pablo Picasso, all of whom encouraged his artwork. The book was a collaborative effort by Neruda and Caballero to celebrate their love of the sea.
