Circa 1920s. Each signed (and many titled) in pencil, lower margin. Comprising mostly landscapes, boating scenes, city views, portraits and Western views.

Washburn (1866-1965) was born in Minneapolis and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Washington from Gallaudet College, an institution for deaf mutes. He studied architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, attended the Art Students League in New York City and worked with Henry Mowbray and William Merritt Chase in Shinnecock, New York.
