carey catalogue from his first year as an independent bookseller, with a note printed at the bottom of page 7 giving notice that his partnership with Stewart has ended. This copy is a variant of an 8-page version in the Library Company, with 2 cancel leaves added containing a prospectus for The Annual Register (repeated on pages 4 and 5) and a listing of 13 books for sale with prices. Like Carey's other catalogues from this period, this was probably disbound from a copy of his American Museum, though not considered integral to it. This variant not in Evans, Bristol or Winans.
