Title within woodcut historiated architectural border; woodcut text illustrations; later engraving of the Crucifixion bound in facing first page of the Canon of the Mass. [9] (of [10]), 250 leaves; lacks +2 (with full-page woodcut on verso), p8 (preceding the Canon, with woodcuts on recto and verso), and last 4 leaves. Text and music printed in red and black throughout. Folio, old blind-tooled morocco over wooden boards with 9 (of 10) brass bosses, joints starting, cover corners worn through; marginal dampstaining and soiling through most of volume, margins trimmed entering some headlines and sidenotes, lower outer corner of q3 torn and restored with slight text loss, worming in blank lower inner corners toward end, ecclesiastical inscription dated 1560 on colophon page; cloth fore-edge tabs.
