Ex-collection the artist's estate; private collection, Nashville.

Bell (1906-1970) studied under John Sloan (1871-1951) at the Art Students League, New York alongside husband and wife artists Don Freeman (1908-1978) and Lydia Cooley (1906-1998) in the 1930s.
