Condition B+: minor restoration along vertical and horizontal folds; creases and abrasions at edges. Situated on the small island of Butte, off Scotland's West Coast, Rothesay was a popular tourist destination up until the Second World War. The island was reached from the Scottish mainland via ferry (and a rail link to Glasgow), several of which are shown here unloading visitors onto the wooden pier.
