CELESTINO PIATTI (1922-2007) CHARMANTER IM PELZ. 1952. 49 3/4x35 1/2 inches, 126 1/2x90 1/4 cm. Condition A: minor abrasions at edges. Piatti was a generalist who was involved in all aspects of graphic design. He studied at the Kunstgewerbe Schule in Zurich and then moved to Basel, where he was exposed to the "magic realism" of Fritz Bühler, for whom he worked as an assistant. In 1948, he opened his own studio and began to discover his own style, creating over 500 poster designs. This image is an advertisement for the fur industry. This is the German version.
