Second edition of a treatise on practical medicine originally published in 1602-03 as Artis medicae pars prima[-secunda], comprising sections on fevers, poisons, venereal diseases, and diseases and conditions affecting the head, thorax, abdomen, and genitals. The thoracic section contains a discussion of Cesalpino's ideas on the flow of blood from the arteries to the veins in the peripheral circulation. Heirs of Hippocrates 317; Krivatsy 2344.
