The half-title bears a signature in red pen with a sketch of a hand holding a loose bouquet; the second, on the title, bears a warm inscription to a friend, with Chagall''s signature, in Hebrew and Yiddish, dated 1965 from Jerusalem. Chagall added red and blue pen details to the printed images on the page.
