This poster was issued in English, Yiddish, Spanish, Lithuanian, Italian and Hungarian to bring its message to immigrant communities. The English text reads: "Food will win the war. You came here seeking Freedom. You must now help to preserve it. Wheat is needed for the Allies. Waste nothing." The art by Charles Edward Chambers prominently features the Statue of Liberty, and was distributed by the United States Food Administration.
