Condition A- / A: small repaired tears and restoration in margins. "Mayo had joined the Publicity Department [of Great Western] in 1932 and was responsible for producing artwork for posters and book covers. In 1939 he produced the most famous Great Western poster of all in Speed to the West," a striking view from ground level of a 'King' class locomotive on a West of England holiday express" (Railway pp. 9-10).
