CHARLES LOUPOT (1892-1962) [Sketches]. 1930. 10 1/2x8 inches. Condition B+: paper loss and tear in bottom left corner; minor creases and tears in margin; minor discoloration in paper. Paper. Similar to Cappiello's method of inventing images, Loupot, like most poster designers, was constantly drawing little sketches to find solutions to his graphic problems. These sketches were not meant to survive and this page is certainly only one of the few that did. It shows studies for Goulet Turpin<> (a grocery chain) and some other unidentifiable characters.
