A fashionable scene promoting a beach, on the Bodensee (Lake of Constance), from where one can see the prominent features of Lindau's skyline, including the towers of St. Stephan and the Stiftskirche. Also, barely visible by the lighthouse, is the statue of the Bavarian lion located at the entrance to the harbor.
