Printed by Robert Blackburn, New York. 1 1/2-inch repaired tear, center right margin, just into the hair of the right figure; tape remains verso. A superb, impression of this very scarce print.
We have found only one other impression at auction in the past 20 years; it sold at Swann on February 6, 2007, and only 2 other impressions in public and private collections: in the Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop Archives and Collection, The Library of Congress, Washington, DC, and The Cleveland Museum of Art, Cleveland, OH.
