The letter, to the Count of the Ferronnage, in French, requesting that he discover the truth about the rumor that the English King, George IV, is dead. 1/2 page, 8vo, with integral address leaf; folds. The endorsement, in French, "I keenly recommend this memorandum to the Count Corvetto," written in the left margin of a letter to the Minister of Finance Corvetto, in French, from someone seeking a position in the Court of Auditors. 2 pages, small folio, written on the recto and verso of a single sheet; minor loss to corners. Np, "Friday, 2 o'clock" [2 July 1830]; circa 1815
