warmly inscribed and signed by charlot to the great art critic, historian, and advisor, walter pach: "En souvenir de bonne amité. Los Angeles `33." Pach is best known as the main organizer of the famed Armory Show in 1913. While similar to the images in his Picture Book and inspired by his pilgrimage to Chalma, Charlot created this print as a separate image at the home of Lynton Kistler in September 1933.
