We have not found another impression at auction in the past 30 years.

The dedicatee, Charles Erskine Scott Wood (1852-1944), was an activist, attorney, and author based in Portland, Oregon. Wood was close friends with Hassam for many years, as well as other important literary and artistic figures of the time such as John Steinbeck and Ansel Adams. Cortissoz/Clayton 21.
