A superb, well-inked impression of this important etching with strong contrasts and with crisp, partially inky plate edges and the tack holes for drying at the extreme sheet edges.
This is a portrait of Hassam's wife, Kathleen Doan, at a desk in the dining room of the Bush-Holley house in Cos Cob. It is one of his largest and most complex etchings. Cortissoz/Clayton 54.
