Etching on laid paper, 1917. 141x190 mm; 5 1/2x7 3/8 inches, full margins. First state (of 2), before the addition of the young Pan piping near the rocks. Edition of approximately only 20. Signed with the artist's cypher and inscribed "imp" in pencil, lower right. A superb, well-inked impression of this extremely scarce etching.
