Album entitled "China," containing 61 photographs of Hong Kong, Singapore, Canton, and Shanghai, with a 3-part panorama of a bustling Canton river scene measuring 73/4x321/2 inches (19.8x90.5 cm.) and a 2-part panorama of Hong Kong. Features 16 photographs of Hong Kong, including Queens Road and the port; 15 views of Canton, including flower boats, settlements of Shahmeen, streets scenes and temple interiors, pagodas and towers; 7 views of Shanghai, with wonderful studies of a hairdresser at work, musicians, prisoners, a nurse, as well as Mr. Sharp's documentation of a beheading, with a short article about his work; and numerous portraits and a street scene in Singapore. Albumen prints, most are 8x11 inches (20.3x28 cm.), with penciled caption information, in English and German, on mount recto.
