Feiffer commentary: I met Chuck Jones when he responsible for the animated version of The Phantom Tollbooth, which was the last piece of animation that MGM did in 1968. Because they were in their death spiral, the film was not released until 1970. I thought he did a lousy job on Tollbooth, but I loved Chuck's animation. He was a very open, friendly guy, and we got along very well. Thirty years after we first met, he drew this for me.
