CHURCH, FREDERICK S. Bound volume containing over 120 illustrated Autograph Letters Signed, each to Grant B. Schley, most signed "Fred" on a variety of topics, but with many concerning art. Each letter with an illustration, mostly-pen-and-ink but some with wash or colored in crayon, the illustrations mostly of animals (predominantly polar bears and lions) and women. Also, several letters have photographs mounted to them by Church, images of various women or of works he is sending to exhibition. Each letter generally 2 pages, written on the same side of a folded 8vo sheet; bound in brown crushed morocco, a bit worn; Schley's bookplate on the front pastedown. Carnegie Hall, 1913-17
