The letter, to Eva Purdy Thomson ("My dear Eva"), agreeing to visit her after the lecture and inscribe books for her. 1 page, 8vo, personal stationery, with integral blank; faint scattered soiling. The book, "Yours v'y truly," on the half-title. 8vo, publisher's cloth, markedly dampstained; all leaves including signature page slightly cockled and moderately dampstained, hinges cracked, faint scattered foxing throughout, Eva Purdy Thomson's blind stamp on page 405.
