Additional Details

" . . . It is many long years since I set eyes on such pieces of sugar, which make such a difference to the taste of coffee . . . Will you kindly give these books about Marlborough to the Prince Regent. I have had them bound for him and he may care to put them in his library, or even read them as there is much in them which touches the Low Countries, and especially Belgium. As you will remember it will probably take three or four months to make the proper coat of arms which you sent me, owing to the general slow down here. But when these come I will send them over to you as they might be pasted inside the volume instead of the simple initial 'C' which they now contain . . ."
