Signed by both artists in pencil, lower margin. Printed by Belfond, Paris, with the blind stamp lower right. A very good, dark impression of this scarce print.
Monet likely acted on the advice of Degas, who had collaborated with Thornley on a suite of lithographs after his drawings (see Reed/Shapiro 25b) during the late 1880s, when he decided to create the current work.
