first edition of the author's first book. with a lengthy signed presentation inscription dated March 1931 to Edward Titus, the editor and founder of Black Manikin Press and the husband of cosmetic magnate Helena Rubinstein. Following his signature and date, Collier transcribes the following lines from Act 5 of William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream: "All that I Have to say, is, / to tell you that the lanthorn is the / moon; I, the man in the moon; / his thorn-boosh, my thorn-bush; and / his dog, my dog."
