Sandham and others, over gold silk boards, scattered moderate wear to silk with several splits along joints with fraying, corners bumped, covers generally bright; some hinges cracked or starting; all edges trimmed and gilt, patterned silk doublures, a few clean marginal tears or creases. Comprises: Sections 1-3; 5-6; and 9-10. With a duplicate copy of Section 3; this copy bound in 3/4 leather gilt over cloth (scattered soiling, spine foot chipped, abrading) with front cover designated "Author's Edition" with identical contents to companion volume.
