Additional Details

". . . Please excuse me for inquiring if the editors of Secret Agent pay anything in advance. And if that is indeed the case, how much I can expect to receive. . . . Do you have the 'typescript' of my latest tale Freya of the Seven Islands there? I sent it to the magazine 'Progrès'. Then the magazine made arrangements with you to publish Typhoon. But the M[ansucript] of Freya was never returned here . . . . I will send you the June issue of London magazine . . . which is publishing the tale in England. Four tales will appear as a volume this summer Secret--Sharer--Smile of Fortune--The Partner--Freya of the Seven Isles. The long novel Chance is coming out in February of next year. . . ."
