Silver prints, 7 3/4x6 1/2 inches (19.7x16.5 cm.) and smaller, each is tipped to beautiful Saunders paper. 4to, debossed burgundy cloth, crisp and clean; original blue cloth slipcase. a limited edition of 10 copies, signed and numbered 7/10, by coplans, in pencil.

Coplans wrote about his work: "All my images are atavistic. They seem to refer to distant models and to numerous sources. At one moment, I may echo the Venus of Willendorf or a fragment of a warrior from the Parthenon. My imagery is not bound by rules; I wander freely throughout the history of art."
