Additional Details

Maps printed from plates obtained from Francesco Levanto, who published the work initially in 1664. Coronelli has added the engraved preliminary matter and the portrait bound in terminally. The maritime charts deal exclusively with the area of the north coast of the Mediterranean from Gibraltar eastward to the Holy Land. The text is full of illustrations of local topography plus detailed sailing instructions. NUC locating only a defective copy of this classic Coronelli atlas.
