The uncolored gore pictures a large portion of China, the Korean peninsula and a portion of Japan. The colored gore shows a portion of Japan and Terra de Iesso (De Companijs Landt on earlier maps). The gores which are formatted for a 42" globe were issued in an atlas and were never really intended for use on a terrestrial globe. Walter 44.
