Edwards was a prolific dress designer to British Royalty in London and to Hollywood Stars like Myrna Loy, Evelyn Knight, Joan Crawford, Ginger Rogers, Anna Mae Wong, and Peggy Wood in Los Angeles before establishing his Park Avenue and 52nd Street Atelier in New York City where he dressed Dorothy Parker and Mrs. Valentine Macy among other ladies of society and the arts.
This archive contains a personal photograph album of adventures in London, California, Mexico, Canada, upstate New York, Wyoming (Yellowstone), and ends with numerous pictures of his home and surroundings in Bali, Dutch East Indies. The scrapbooks contain clippings from his numerous contributions to columns and print ads in newspapers and magazines, numerous reviews of his work in same, theatre programs listing him as costume designer, and transcripts for various radio programs. There are also 10 accomplished pencil sketches of a European city square with male figure.
