COWARD, NOËL. Two Autograph Notes Signed, "Noël," each to Richard Pindle Hammond, in green ink. The first, to "Dick," inviting him to a luncheon on Saturday. 1 page, 4to, "Les Bouillons" stationery; folds. The second, written on verso of a photograph, completing a sentence begun in another hand: "so we could have a Kaffee Klatsch together. Its the only place left to have one." Additionally Signed and Inscribed by Leopold Stokowski: "We wish so much you were here . . . / Stoki." First 7 lines inscribed in unknown hand. The photograph, showing a garden in which a woman is standing and a man is seated. 5 3/4x3 3/4. With the original envelope, in which both items were sent.
