Additional Details

scarce specimen copy containing a number of original woodcuts including a hand-colored specimen page from Craig's "Book of Penny Toys," a colored poster woodcut entitled The Vagabond, a full-page illustrated announcement for Edith Craig's theatrical costume business, and other pieces. As common for these specimen copies, the collation does not neatly conform to the table of contents (two plates are reversed and other items appear never to have been bound in, like Gorenflot, Sir Henry Irving as Robespierre, and a tailpiece.
