Russell Crotty is a Los Angeles based artist whose drawing practice centers around environmental issues, current and futuristic landscapes, as well as astronomy and outer space. His drawings usually include hand-written text and are often large in scale (as here) and sometimes three-dimensional. This work is from a series of hand-made books - graphite on paper - which he made in 2003, all in large format.
