The Atlas here does not have a printed date, however it is dated in front May 1, 1823 in contemporary ink manuscript by owner Martin Burkess. Rumsey 2987 lists the Ninth edition of the Atlas as published in 1824, so the undated Eighth Edition here must have been published after 1821 and was used in conjunction with the Ninth edition of the Geography published in 1823.
