Additional Details

Described in a 1964 Goodspeed's Book Shop catalog: "Scarce. You see Little Old New York in a little old lithograph published by N. Currier in 1849, when he was at 152 Nassau Street in that city. The view is from the Jersey side and the Jersey City Ferry is seen in the right foreground, which in this case is water. Manhattan landmarks identified in the caption are: St. Paul's, the North Dutch, and St. George's churches, the Post Office, Trinity Church, the Battery, Castle Garden, and Governor's Island."
