Illustrator Curt Blixt won a poster competition held to choose the best image to promote Stockholm's 700th anniversary. He chose a personification of "Mälardrottningen" - (a poetic name for Stockholm, as the city sits on Lake Mälar), hosting a party in the city and on the water (Sweden p. 179). The mask and trumpet she holds symbolize the importance that theatre and performances held in the celebrations. This is the English version. Sweden cover and p. 181.
