Both plates are print on paper with Van Gelder Zonen watermarks. The "Cowichan Warrior" is lightly discolored/darkend where the original tissue leaf was laid over the plate. The discoloration is more distinctive near the edge of the plate than it is over the image area. "The Whaler" has a much lighter darkening from the tissue. Otherwise, these are nice, clean impressions.
