This collection of the "Thirty Stupidities" often encountered in spiritual battles, was one of dozens written by the Dominican master of prose, Domenico Cavalca. Writing in Italian, Cavalca also translated important religious texts into vernacular Pisan and Florentine dialects. The title of the present work is normally rendered as Trattato delle Trente Stoltizie.
