First edition of this new translation, octavo, bound in full contemporary English sheep, both boards detached, ex libris Mary King, signed several times in 1780, with three other lengthy inscriptions in her hand, suggesting that her father was named Arnold King, likely a minister, and that they lived in or near Croydon, in Surrey; formerly the property of English poet and physicist Edward Andrade (1887-1971), with his bookplate inside front board; 6 1/8 x 3 3/4 in.
