Two octavo volumes, comprising both parts of Don Quixote published in Italian for the first time; translated from Spanish to Italian by Lorenzo Franciosini (1600-1645); part one bound in sponge-decorated sheepskin; part two bound in contemporary limp paper covers; each with printer's device on title page, text printed in italic type; first part lacking one preliminary blank, final blank present; part two with some light worm trailing, repaired in some areas, last signature with marginal loss to top inner blank corners; staining; I: 5 7/8 x 3 7/8 in.; II: 6 1/4 x 4 in.
