Consisting of:

1) An Account of the Voyages Undertaken by the Order of his Present Majesty for Making Discoveries in the Southern Hemisphere, London: Printed for W. Strahan & T. Cadell, 1773, three large quarto volumes, second edition; illustrated with folding frontispiece chart, large folding chart of the Straits of Magellan (torn, patchy paper repairs), the set illustrated with a collective total of 40 folding plates and 11 full page plates.

2) A Voyage towards the South Pole and Round the World, London: Printed for W. Strahan & T. Cadell, 1777 & 1784, two large quarto volumes, first volume second edition; second volume fourth edition; portrait frontispiece of Cook opposite title in first volume, illustrated with 34 folding and 29 full page plates; one folding typographical table.

3) A Voyage to the Pacific Ocean for Making Discoveries in the Northern Hemisphere, London: Printed by H. Hughs for G. Nichol and T. Cadell, 1785, three large quarto volumes, second edition; illustrated with portrait frontispiece of Cook in first volume, portrait of Captain James King facing the title of the second volume; illustrated with 13 folding plates, 11 full page, and one folding typographical table; the set bound in uniform diced russia, all volumes rebacked, and most repairs failing, some boards detached; the third voyage rather well preserved internally, other volumes with some stains, tears and other minor faults, each volume; 11 1/2 x 9 in. (8)

IV: Atlas volume of plates, without title page, containing 62 plates of which 2 are large folding maps; bound in half morocco with buckram boards, nicely preserved; 21 x 14 1/4 in.
