Second edition, octavo; bound in publisher's maroon cloth stamped in gilt; pencil annotations throughout; back hinge cracked, text block cracked in two places but otherwise sturdy, corners lightly bumped, spine dull, lacking original dust jacket; with Cronyn's bookplate and ownership inscription in ink on ffep dated 1931; 7 1/2 x 5 in.

2) Benn W. Levy's (1900-1973)The Devil Passes. New York: Samuel French Ltd., 1932.
