Printer and editor Crouch, who usually published under the pseudonym Robert or Richard Burton, aka RB, here compiles narratives of trips to the Holy Land by various authors. He includes Henry Timberlake's narrative, along with one by Samuel Breet, and an excerpt from John Evelyn's "History of the Three Late Famous Imposters." Crouch adds some original material of his own, "A Journey to Jerusalem," and "The Travels of Fourteen Englishmen."
