Created by the Dartmouth Outing Club in 1911, the Winter Carnival was particularly popular in the 1920's, 30's and 40's. With the exception of 1918, when coal & food were in short supply, there has been a winter carnival at Dartmouth each year since its creation; lettering in green, pink and red.
