Born in Yugoslavia before World War II, Reisinger survived the Holocaust, and moved to the newly-formed state of Israel in the late 1940s. He studied art at the Bezalel Academy of Art in Jerusalem, and also at the Central School of Art in London under Abram Games. Back in Israel, he began a long and successful graphic design career, which included such highlights as: designing the Israeli Pavilion for Montreal's Expo '67, creating Israel's first color magazine, and designing the new El Al logo and an aluminum statue for the Yad Vashem Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem. This image is from a series of 16 destination posters he designed for the Israeli airline between 1968 and 1972.
