Participating in the mural division of the New Deal artist's work programs, Daniel Celentano was selected for three projects. In 1936 he completed a mural, funded by the Work Relief program (WPA) for the Queensborough Public Library, Flushing Branch, NY. His mural titled, Children in Creative and Cultural Activities was completed in 1940 under the Work Relief Program for P.S. 150 in Queens, NY. A mural commissioned by the Treasury Section of Fine Arts was Celentano's third and final project, created for the Vidalia City Hall, Vidalia, GA.
