An orange-haired little girl in a pale yellow outfit and red leggings is trying on a new bonnet; against a blue background, lettering in red, yellow and blue. Cheret began designing advertisements for this Parisian hat emporium as early as 1888. In 1892 he designed a poster featuring a little girl and her mother trying on hats, and the image of the little girl was reused on atleast two other posters once in 1894 and again for this poster.
